At Mountainside Mobile Detailing, our top priority is delivering consistent, high-quality results while protecting your vehicle. Certain weather conditions directly impact the effectiveness and safety of our detailing process. To ensure the best possible outcome for every service, we follow the guidelines below.
Temperature Guidelines
- Interior Detailing
We require a minimum ambient temperature of 35°F or above to safely and effectively perform interior services.
- Exterior Detailing (Washes, Paint Correction, Ceramic Coatings)
We require a minimum ambient temperature of 40°F or above to perform exterior services.
These thresholds are necessary because our cleaning agents can freeze, coatings may not cure properly, and cold surfaces can result in streaking, spotting, or an uneven finish.
Weather-Related Rescheduling
If the forecasted temperature at your service location falls below our required thresholds, we will proactively reach out 24–48 hours in advance to:
• Adjust your start time later in the day, or
• Reschedule your appointment to the next suitable date at no additional charge
High Winds, Precipitation, or Severe Weather
Strong winds, snow, sleet, freezing rain, or heavy rain may also require rescheduling to ensure safety and finish quality. In these cases, we will communicate as early as possible and work with you to secure the soonest available weather-appropriate date.
